or How I Shifted Away From Rote Memorization

¡Hola compañeros humanos!

Hoy aprendi con un nuevo programa llama "Language Transfer." La idea es radical. Sin memorización, sin escribir, solo escucha y repite. Hasta aquí es facíl, pero solo lo hace tres lecciones, y el primero fue intruduccióne.

Today we are learning with a new program called "Language Transfer." The idea is radical. No memorization, no writing, only listen and repeat.  So far, it's easy, but it was only three lessons, and the first was an introduction.

Quiero llegar a ser fluido en español mucho. Espero que este curso me dé comienzo. Estoy emocionada, pero tengo miedo hablar con un hablantes naivas. No importa, todavía tengo que intentar.

I want to become fluent in Spanish so much. I hope this course gets me started. I am excited but afraid to speak to native speakers. Doesn't matter; I still have to try.

De todos modos, también veo videos para ayudarme a aprender. Mi favorita es "Spring Spanish." Ellos enseñan a apreder "chunks," o frases comunes hablantes naivas usa todo el tiempo.

Anyway, I also watch videos to help me learn. My favorite is "Spring Spanish." They teach me to learn "chunks," or common phrases native speakers use all the time.

Y yo uso Duolingo, por supuesto.

And I use Duolingo, of course.
